Places to Visit

You can choose between two delicacies:

A Half day tour to visit Sarchi, Sanghar, Chaini Kothi, Tinder Village, Pekhri Village, Jibhi Waterfall and Succhain Heritage Village.


Full day tour includes  Prashar Lake, Manikaran hot springs, Rafting adventure at Jalori Pass & Seolsar Lake and GHNP Panjain Thachi Bahu village and a walk to the Sultanpur Mani Temple.

Half Day Tours

Quaint villages, gushing waters and mesmerizing scenery make the places in and around Tirthan a beautiful place to enjoy with family.

Sarchi

Dense pine trees, deodar and oaks give company on the way to Sarchi, a rustic village tucked in the Himalayas. The village boasts of a few shops, a small pond, acres of vegetable farms, an ornate temple of the local deity and beautiful mud houses with thatched roofs. We promise the magnificent views along the trek will take your breath away, literally! 

Sanghar

Steeped in local folklore, Sanghar is believed to have been created by the Pandvas. A charming green grassland surrounded by mountain peaks, the famed wide meadows of Sangarh are a sight for travellers from all over the world.  In one corner of the grassland, lies the three-tiered Shangchul Mahadev temple. The Sanghar trek offers great mountain vistas and opportunities for observing wildlife.

Chaini Kothi

It is an impressive tower made of stone and wood, in the Chehni village. Built primarily as garrison stations, these were used not just for safeguarding the villagers but also as storage structures. The tallest standing structure of its kind in Western Himalayan, the 45 meter tall tower is a living testimony of the skilled craftsmen of the local villagers, who are popular for being great wood-workers.

Tinder Village

Another remote village near Tirthan valley, Tinder village offers dramatic landscapes and stunning views.

Pekhri Village

Lying close to the Great Himalayan National Park (GNHP), Pekhri is a traditional Himachal village that was connected via a road for the first time, as recent as 2011.  A lush landscape, Pekhri offers beautiful views for the intrepid traveller.

Jibhi Waterfall

A cascading waterfall in the heart of nature, with numerous wooden bridges along the path is a picturesque attraction near Banjar valley.

Jalori Pass and Serolsar Lake:

Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the trek from Jalori pass takes you through a forest path, with copious species of wildlife, vegetation and rustic hamelets dotting the landscape to Serolsar Lake, a clean lake surrounded by picturesque hills nearby.

Prashar Lake

Surrounded by the Dhaulandar ranges in the Kullu Valley is a blue water lake called Prashar Lake, arrived at after following a charming trail through a forest and several  rivulets. The local temple of Parahsar Rishi next to the lake, with its riveting Hiamchali architecture, blends seamlessly with the landscape.

Manikaran Hot Springs:

Manikaran Hot Springs are located in the premise of a Gurudwara. It is considered as one of the holiest places in India for the Hindu and Sikh pilgrims. The devout take a dip here as the spring water is believed to have healing properties. The ‘Langar’ given is simple, wholesome and delicious.

Kasol

Located in Parvati valley of Himachal, nestles a charming village called Kasol. The river Parvati cuts across the valley and creates a stunning landscape.  Treks to Kheer Ganga and Tosh originate from here. For the food lovers, Kasol is known to be a haven for Israeli food and consequently, been given the name the “mini Israel”.

Kullu Heritage walk to Sultanpur

Sultanpur Palace houses beautiful miniatures that show the timeline of growth of Kullu Manali. Also known as Rupi Palace, this is a great sightseeing option in Kullu as it was the residential palace of erstwhile rulers of Kullu Valley and is even now, inhabited by the royal family.

Manu Temple

This magnificent temple is dedicated to the sage Manu, who is said to be the creator of the world and the writer of Manusmriti. Beas river flows on the side of the temple, making it one of the prime attractions in Manali.

Sainj valley:

An offbeat place in Himachal, the Sainj valley trek takes you right into the heart of Great Himalayan National Park (GNHP), a pristine and rich ecosystem that has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The trek starts at the magnificent meadows of Shangarh. Surrounded by pine trees, these landscaped grasslands with mountains around, reminds one of Kashmir.  The trail further goes through dense forests, ringing with different bird cries. When the trail finally opens out of the forest, you get remarkable views of the Sainj valley and the mighty peaks surrounding the Raktisar glacier.
